SmithKline Beecham

SmithKline Beecham (SB) is one of the worlds leading healthcare companies. Smith Beecham develops, manufactures and markets pharmaceuticals , vaccines, over the counter medicines, and health related consumer products, including Lucozade which  has been a popular energy drink since 1927

These are some few Advertising poster Lucozade have produce for there products. The main  target is to appeal to younger audience and want to prove that they are the most successful brand in GlaxoSmithKline


They were trying to use age relevant musicians between age of 16-24 in there campaigns.
As you can see on the second image GSK did A Lucozade TV Ad with Tinie Tempah, Irish World Champion Katie Taylor and former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker which makes Lucozade the second biggest in the UK behing unstoppable Coca Cola.

Don’t think about a “re-design” solution: I’m more interested in your visual analysis of the product. Think about the significance of the bottle, the relationships to sport, how “energy” can be communicated elsewhere and how it works here. Also think about the history of the product: it used to be mainly sold in pharmacists before being rebranded to appeal to the broader drinks market.
